You’re a creative mind who thinks strategically, and words are your preferred medium. Ideas come in the form of content and campaigns and brand guidelines and post copy and memes and thoughtful-yet-relatable Slacks to your coworkers. You just get it. We want someone who doesn’t stop at just making things — you can’t help yourself from continually working to make them better and better.

Speaking of making things better: you believe collaboration is the key to all great work. But not the kind of superficial brainstorms that let you “check the box” and move on; no, we’re talking about deeply meaningful collaboration with people whose job descriptions look nothing like yours. You bring all kinds of people (and, hey, clients are people, too!) along for the ride. And you do all of that for a lot of different projects at the same time. Whew. Easy, right?

  • 5-7 years of experience This is not your first rodeo — you’ve been in-house or at creative agencies that know what it means to build brands. You have a depth of experience in writing on-brand copy across all media.

  • You’re self-driven You know when to work autonomously and when to bring people in, and you’re able to move forward and make decisions without all the answers. You know, google stuff.

  • You don’t reserve your creative thinking for just the big stuff. You’re as comfortable crafting a big, beautiful brand story as you are writing captivating social copy.

  • Your work makes other writers jealous. Big ideas and strategic thinking wrapped up in a creative narrative with a clear brand voice is *chef's kiss*

  • Social is your first language. You use the ins and out of each platform to build the feed, the audience, and the brand itself. And you're probably onto the next big thing before anyone even knew the first thing was a thing.

  • You’re a grown-up. Sure, you have years under your belt and maybe some big brand work but your ego is nowhere to be found. You get urgency. Your present with confidence. You’re always on deadline. You are eager to solicit and apply feedback; you believe no idea is too precious to be revised or re-re-re-revised.

  • You give a damn. Not just about your own work, but about our client’s success, about your coworkers, and about the world.

This is a full-time position with benefits, reporting to the creative directors, and it is located in Raleigh, NC.
